Salice Silentia Overlay Hinge Selector

Designed for cabinet refacing ( fitting existing face frame cabinets with new overlay doors ), this widget assigns the proper Salice Silentia 106 degree Overlay soft close hinge given the desired reveals and existing face frame stiles and mullions widths.  

The widget works by assigning hinges to doors with overlays ranging from 3/8" to 1 9/16" in increments of 1/16".  Overlays of doors and the matching hinge selected for that door is driven by a desired reveal for that door or pair of doors.   

To illustrate, let's say you are going for a consistent 3/4" reveal on this face frame refacing job.  And let's say the existing stiles range in width from 1 1/2" to 2 1/2".  The existing "old look" for this job was based on 1/2" overlay doors.  But the "new look" for this job will be a consistent 3/4" reveal between doors.  Lay out the cabinets "as built" in Cabinet Vision and model the openings and widths of stiles exactly the same as the cabinets in the room.  Select a 3/4" reveal and the UCS will show you which hinge to use on any given opening.  The materials list report will also give you an exact count of the Salice Silentia hinges needed.  And Assembly Sheets will provide the cabinet placement of the various hinges.
