This has massively reduced the amount of time it takes to send out a bid, and given the functionality he has built into it, I can tailor it to exactly my needs and how we estimate jobs. What once took a solid 2 hours to draw up a complex cabinet package in order to bid it out, now takes minutes. Additionally, Bruce make himself available to help further customize and refine this tool for dumb-dumbs like me. At Craftsman Engineering, we've taken the initiative to "re-imagine" all of the Standard Reports. And we've given that initiative a fresh new name...NOTE Reports. NOTE is an acronym for Nice On The Eyes.
In addition to the list of Standard reports that we've re-imagined and re-designed, we've also added custom reports that have helped us become more productive.
NOTE Reports are:
- Presented mostly in Landscape format
- Easy to read sans-serif fonts are consistent from report to report
- Date formats are consistent and presented like April 30, 2025, for example
- Report footers list the name of the report
- Each report has a unique name making every report easy to find
