Purpose driven Cabinet Vision training is a huge part of what we do here at Craftsman Engineering. 

There are other training resources out there too...Hexagon for one.  The big difference, however, is that ALL of our training is personalized, one-on-one training presented by a seasoned cabinet industry professional.  We tailor each session around your skill level, your learning style, your shop's work flow, and your "pain points"...you know...the things you might be struggling with. 

Every shop has their own workflows and their own twist on how to use Cabinet Vision and we certainly understand and respect that. Our goal is to help you become more efficient and profitable as a Cabinet Vision user within the bounds of your company's products and your company's "workflows" while comfortably working within the framework of Cabinet Vision.

In our professional opinion, Cabinet Vision is the most complete and well written software platform designed for a single industry.  It is more than what Adobe Photoshop is to the graphics industry.  It's more than what Microsoft Word is to writing, word processing and journalism.   Nearly every engineering, drawing and production aspect of any cabinet and millwork business can thrive under the Cabinet Vision platform.  Consequently, the learning curve can be steep and its concepts can be a bit abstract.

Well worth it!

First off thank you for selling this package as it was well worth it! Just wanted to give fee back as requested. Ran a sample three drawer base cabinet to check accuracy . only adjustment I had to make was to deduct 2mm from the drawer bottom length connection in the drawer box construction schedule . all else was spot on but I'm sure you knew that or you would not have released it. I plan on using your services in the future.

A LOT better than Sliced Bread

Not only is the functionality of Cost Plus Bid Center well thought out, it is so comprehensive. Bruce has thought of everything. This has massively reduced the amount of time it takes to send out a bid, and given the functionality he has built into it, I can tailor it to exactly my needs and how we estimate jobs. What once took a solid 2 hours to draw up a complex cabinet package in order to bid it out, now takes minutes. Additionally, Bruce make himself available to help further customize and refine this tool for dumb-dumbs like me. If you want to streamline your business without sacrificing quality and accuracy, this tool is the bees-knees.

FAQ's

Q: Let's say I buy a four hour block of time. Then what happens?
A: We'll arrange a first meeting via Zoom.... usually about one week out. Meetings generally run about two hours long. All meetings are conducted via Zoom. In the first session, you'll share your screen with us as we have a look around your Cabinet Vision environment. You'll show us a typical job of yours and we'll touch on some of the issues you're having. Subsequent meetings are also typically about 2 hours long. We'll dive in and address your unique "pain points" or tweak some bad habits or work on some new concepts.

Q: How many hours do I need to fully understand Cabinet Vision?
A: Everyone comes to the table with their own unique level of understanding and level of expertise. Consequently, there's no set answer to this question. We tailor each training session around your situation and your unique set of circumstances. There is no fixed curriculum and no set number of hours.

Q: Do you offer a certificate of completion? It'd be nice to have a certificate to show my boss.
A: No, we don't offer any certificates but we'd be happy to make one up just for you.

Q: Are there any topics you stay away from?
A: Yes. We don't teach advanced topics of custom report writing or UCS writing. There are too many foundational prerequisites that must be mastered before setting down that path.
